Hi, Brittany! Thanks for splashing on by to see us here at planDisney!
A day at
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is just what this Florida girl ordered for a hot day at the Walt Disney World Resort. And believe me, early October is still plenty hot in these parts! You're in for a fabulous, water-filled adventure!
If you've purchased a ticket with the
Water Park and Sports Option or Park Hopper Plus Option added, you'll have a certain number of water park visits included based on the number of days on your ticket. For example, a 3-Day Ticket with the Park Hopper Plus Option allows you to up to three separate visits to a Disney water park as long as the ticket is valid. In that case, you can go to
EPCOT after visiting Disney's Blizzard Beach. However, while you don't need a reservation for a water park, you would still need to make one for EPCOT, since all Guests must have a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first theme park they'll be visiting that day. Water parks don't count toward that initial park reservation requirement.
I recommend you go ahead and make a reservation for EPCOT now if you think you may be heading there after slip-sliding the day away at Disney's Blizzard Beach. Just head to the
Disney Park Pass page on the Walt Disney World website, create your party, and choose the date and park you plan to visit. You can always cancel it if you change your mind, but it's easy to do and will be there if you need it.
It sounds like you have a fun-filled day planned for your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, Brittany! Thanks again for stopping by, and just keep swimming over to see your planDisney pals again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
