Hi Diego,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am thrilled that you are considering purchasing
Memory Maker. My family loves to capture all of our vacation photos with Memory Maker!
If you purchase it now at the advance purchase price, you can start using it in August when you visit the parks. When we purchase in advance, I just make sure I have done so at least three days before our trip - I actually purchase it a few weeks in advance and link it to My Disney Experience Account. Here is how it works - when you take pictures with a Disney PhotoPass photographer, be sure that the photographer scans your MagicBand or admission card. The photos will then automatically upload to your
My Disney Experience Account. While we are in the parks, I check the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to make sure the pictures are appearing.
Some rides and attractions have PhotoPass opportunities. Those photos should also automatically upload to your My Disney Experience Account. If a photo does not automatically upload, stop by to speak with a cast member at a
Disney PhotoPass Service Center. If you know the general time the photo was taken and location, a cast member should be able to find the photo and link it to your account. They have always been able to help us in the past!
Diego, we love Memory Maker. We have the best photos from our visits to the Walt Disney World Resort and we have been able to use those photos to make photo books from our trips. On our last trip, we had over 200 photos. Those memories are just priceless!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
