We want to go to the Aloha Dinner show. We want to be able to see the fireworks at MK so we don't know if we should go to the first or second show. We are staying at AKL. Wondering how long it takes to get there by bus and if the bus drops you off at Poly.

Hello Marnie!  You may want to check the Magic Kingdom calendar to see when Wishes is scheduled for the night you want to attend the Spirit of Aloha Polynesian Luau.  As you hinted, there are two show nightly - one beginning at 5:15 p.m. and the other beginning at 8:00 p.m.  Each show lasts approximately 2 hours.  You'll probably want to go to the first show to give yourself plenty of time to get to Magic Kingdom to watch Wishes.  Of course you also have the option to watch the fireworks display from the beach at the Polynesian.

As far as transportation, you'll want to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and then transfer over to the resort monorail and exit at the Polynesian resort.  If you decide on the 5:15 show, I would suggest you leave Animal Kingdom Lodge by 4:00.  This should give you plenty of time to wait for the bus, transfer to the monorail and make your way to the dinner show.

    Enjoy the show!  Diane  :)
