I would like to go to AKL’s Sana’a Lounge for drinks and bread service one evening. When doing this, guests should leave no later than what time (keeping in mind they have to bus to AK after the park has closed and get a bus to their individual resort)?

    Hi Maegen,

You are a woman after my own heart! A snack and an adult libation are my idea of the perfect way to cap a day in the Walt Disney World theme parks, and there's no better appetizer than the bread service at Sanaa and Sanaa Lounge. The warm naan and the nine sauces that accompany it are sometimes all my family needs for a light meal. (The tamarind chutney is my favorite of the accompaniments; I could eat it by the spoonful!)

But that wasn't your question, was it? I got distracted thinking about all that Sanaa goodness.

You are correct that the Walt Disney World buses do not operate between resorts. To return to your resort from Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge, you will need to take a bus to any of the theme parks or Disney Springs to transfer. Buses run to and from each theme park for at least an hour after the park closes. And Disney Springs buses run until at least 2 a.m. daily.

So there's no need to feel rushed. You can take your time to enjoy Sanaa Lounge and to explore the resort. The animal viewing area right outside of Sanaa has an evening fire and comfy rocking chairs for relaxing next to the savannah.

Once you are ready to depart, simply head to the Kidani Village bus stop and catch a bus to the transfer point that's most convenient at that time. You can check for the next available bus by going to the "See Bus Times" section of the My Disney Experience app. Or look up at the bus stop for the monitors that give you the next arrival time for each bus.

Thanks for your question, Maegen. Please let us know if you need recommendations on other dining experiences during your vacation or if we can help with any other part of your planning. Enjoy!
