Hello there, Angela!
As my pal Mickey Mouse says, “Oh boy!” Your cruise will be here before you know it. I’d be happy to offer a few tips to help you prepare for your upcoming vacation.
It sounds like you’re interested in ordering an Onboard Credit, which can cover anything charged to a stateroom. It is not necessary, but you can absolutely add an Onboard Credit to your account. The easiest way to do this is on the Disney Cruise Line website by navigating to the “Already Booked” tab, selecting
“Onboard Gifts,” and then selecting “Onboard Credit.”
Alternatively, you can order Onboard Credits over the
phone with a friendly Cast Member, but if your cruise is leaving on a Tuesday, you’ll need to order your Onboard Credits by Saturday (close of business). A friendly Cast Member would be happy to arrange this for you.
Angela, don’t worry if your party behaves on the cruise and you have unused Onboard Credits because any unused onboard credits will be credited back to the original form of payment.
I should also mention that when you complete your online check-in (30 days before your sail date), you will set up a Key to the World account through the
Payment Authorization Form. This is the easiest way to manage how your party will charge incidental expenses to your stateroom folio. When you get on board, you will receive a physical Key to the World card, which can be used to pay for transactions onboard. I hope you found these tips helpful!
May the magic be with you!Melanie
