Welcome to planDisney, Daniel! It sounds like you've got some spooky fun lined up for next week, and I'm happy to help you get your ducks in a row so you're ready to go with your Lightning Lane selections when your trip starts!
First, it's important to clarify that
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets aren't eligible for
Lightning Lane, so there's nothing to buy or book for October 26 in terms of Lightning Lane. Party attractions are standby, and Lightning Lane is not available for purchase with Party tickets for that 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM window between when you can enter the park and when it closes to day guests.
Your Lightning Lane window ties to your regular date-based park ticket for October 28, as well as your lodging. If you're staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, your Lightning Lane window opens 7 days before your check-in date for the length of your stay. That means you can buy Lightning Lane a week in advance of your check-in day, regardless of when during your stay your ticket window opens. If you're staying off-property, your Lightning Lane window opens 3 days before the start date of your park ticket, so in your case, that's 3 days before October 28. The October 26 Halloween Party doesn't affect the timing at all, you'll wait until October 25 to purchase and pick your times.
I have a few tips for you to make your Lightning Lane selection morning go smoothly! Make sure your tickets are linked in
My Disney Experience and that everyone in your travel party is connected in your Family & Friends list so you can plan together in one go. Be ready in the app a few minutes before 7:00 AM Eastern when selections unlock for eligible guests on their booking day. If you have specific headliners in mind, grab those first, then modify to fine-tune times after you lock something in.
I hope this answers your question, Daniel, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
