I am a GM retiree. Can I get discount tickets for Epcot on Wednesday Feb. 21 2024. Also is there still an entrance to Test Track for retirees. Thank you

    Hi there, Steve!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping by with a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. It sounds like you'll be racing over to The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short days - how exciting! The flag is about to drop on your Walt Disney World Resort adventure. Let's discuss how to maximize every minute during your thrilling day at EPCOT.

Steve, your question brought a smile to my face, because my father recently retired from a long career in the automotive industry as well. Unfortunately, at this time, the Walt Disney World Resort does not offer any special offers specifically for GM retirees. However, I encourage you to reach out to your previous employer to check whether discounts are available via that route, as, occasionally, employers provide discounts and benefits to employees through third-party vendors.

I checked in with a friendly Cast Member who was able to confirm that, at the time of writing, a corporate lounge is available for GM employees and retirees near Test Track! However, because the lounge is operated by GM, the Walt Disney World Resort Cast Member I spoke with was unable to provide any additional details on the location. When you arrive at EPCOT, I recommend asking a Cast Member at either Guest Relations or Test Track how to access the lounge. Also, I recommend bringing some type of credential (e.g., GM employee identification badge) with you to verify your affiliation in order to access the lounge. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you're able to access this lounge for a little relaxation in the middle of an exciting day!

Steve, I hope you've found these details helpful as you gear up for your high-octane day at EPCOT. If you have any additional vacation planning questions, you're always welcome to return for a pit stop at planDisney! We're here to help as you speed into your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

    See ya real soon,
