Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Chrissy!
If you've never been to Walt Disney World Resort before, one of the things you're about to find out on your upcoming vacation is how accommodating they are for guests with allergies and special diets. You'll be able to find gluten-free items at most dining locations, and Cast Members are super knowledgable about their menus and can work with you to find something that you want to eat. When you make an advanced dining reservation
over the phone or using the
My Disney Experience app, make sure you note that someone in your party is on a gluten-free diet so they know to chat with you about it when you get there.
I've had a chance to try some of the offerings at
Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, and you're going to love the delicious things you're going to taste inside the Enchanted Forest. There is a gluten-free option for each of the three appetizers
on the menu, so you'll get to taste a few different things, and the current gluten-free entrées include the Brother's Grimm Roasted Chicken, and Bashful's Butter Poached Snapper. When it's time for dessert, there are also gluten-free versions of all three of those as well. Finally, the finishing touch to the meal, The Hunter's Gift to the Queen, is also gluten-free. Menu items are always subject to change, so be sure to ask for the allergy menu when you get there so you can see what's available for you.
Say hi to Grumpy for me!
