I also eat gluten-free meals and know that finding restaurants that offer a wide selection of menu items to meet my dietary needs is not always easy. I’m happy to help you navigate some options as you adventure into another galaxy at
Space 220 Lounge!
Although Space 220 does not offer allergy menus online, this location does a really good job of accommodating gluten-free requests, in my experience. While menus are always subject to change and you will need to check with your server on the day you dine in the restaurant, some examples of menu items that have been available gluten-free in the past include tuna tartare or salad appetizers, salmon or filet mignon entrees, and sorbet or gelato desserts. Your server will also be able to tell you additional items on the current menu that can be prepared gluten-free. Although you will see a
small menu online for Space 220 Lounge, you should be able to order off of the
regular menu for the restaurant, as well.
I also want to pass along some details about how Disney handles
Special Diets Requests. There are protocols in place to ensure guests with food allergies can make informed choices when dining and feel comfortable that their meals have been prepared safely. When you arrive at the restaurant, be sure to tell the Cast Member at check-in about your dietary needs. Then inform your server, as well. You can also request to speak with a Special-Diets Training Cast Member. When your meal arrives, it should have a visual marker indicating it has been prepared with your dietary requests. If it doesn’t have this marker, be sure to ask your server.
