Are gluten free options readily available with the quick service dining plan

Hello there, Kim, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

Walt Disney World Resort is known for its immersive attractions and beloved characters, but the food has become a significant part of the experience. I'm happy to tell you that there are many gluten-free options throughout the theme parks, and that they are readily available at nearly all Disney quick-service restaurants.

With the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, you get two quick-service meals and one snack per person per night of your stay. When you arrive at the dining location, simply ask a Cast Member for an allergy-friendly menu. You can also mobile order at many quick-service restaurants on the My Disney Experience App. Just look for the Allergy Friendly icon at the top of the menu. If you don't see that icon, the restaurant likely still has gluten-free options, but you'll have to order in person. Safety is a priority at Walt Disney World, so any time you feel unsure, ask to speak to someone from the kitchen.

My advice is to check out the list of quick-service restaurants that are included in the dining plan before you go. There are so many to choose from, and I have found that nearly all of them can accommodate common dietary restrictions. Click on one to view the menu. Scroll to the bottom to view the allergy-friendly options.

In Magic Kingdom Park, Columbia Harbour House is one of my family's favorites. Grab your food and head upstairs for a quiet break from all the fun. Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe probably has the most gluten-free choices. In EPCOT, stop by Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American Adventure for BBQ or a burger. They even have gluten-free garlic toast!

You can also enjoy many classic Disney snacks and treats. Mickey bars and Dole whips are both gluten-free. And be sure to stop by Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC in Disney Springs, where everything is gluten-free!

I wish you the most magical vacation, Kim, with memories that last a lifetime! Please let us know if you have any more questions! We're always happy to help here at planDisney
