What gluten free options are bailable in the fireworks dining packages at Rose and Crown and Spice Road table? The Rose and Crown menu for the dining package doesn’t have the information and the Spice Road dining package menu seems limited.

    Hiya Kim!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I love dining packages and consider it one of the best things about Walt Disney World Resort that many guests don't know about. A lovely dinner is included along with a prime viewing of a fabulous nighttime spectacular! The Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package provides you with some perfect views of Luminous The Symphony of Us while enjoying a meal that includes one appetizer, one entrée, one dessert, and unlimited beverages! It does say that it will be a prix fixe menu which will most likely be a selection from the four entrée options they usually have on their menu which include Shepherd's Pie, Fish and Chips, or Bangers and Mash. According to their Allergy-Friendly menu, the Shepherd's Pie appears to be a selection that is good for gluten/wheat-allergic individuals. The appetizer may change but it seems to be a choice between a soup, cheese platter, or Scotch Egg. The dessert option seems to be a platter of assorted puddings. Those with a gluten/wheat allergy may substitute with a salad and a Plant-based seasonal Gelato. These options could change but as your trip approaches I have a plan for you.

What I want you to do to ensure that you have delicious options awaiting you and that the Cast Members are prepared to make your meal safely is contact the team at Special Diets. Send them an email about 14 or fewer days before you arrive to Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com and include information about all your dining reservations including the reservation numbers. Explain that you will need gluten-free options and they will set things up and may even discuss options. I also suggest that when you arrive and check in to your reservation remind the Cast Members about needing gluten-free options. It should already be on your reservation and diligent Cast Members may even ask about your party's allergies and dietary preferences but just in case give a friendly reminder.

I hope this helps and you have a delicious time! Let me know if you have any more questions!

    Happy Planning!

Meet the Panelist: Nimmy, New York

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
