Hi, Susan! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It sounds like you are
planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort during the
holiday season. Nothing puts me in the holiday spirit quite like attending
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is my favorite party activity!
If you're like me and you love a parade, purchasing a ticket to
Tony's Most Merriest Town Square Party is a great idea. Guests attending Tony's Most Merriest Town Square Party can indulge in a delicious all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet of hors d'oeuvres and desserts, as well as a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at
Tony's Town Square Restaurant. Tony's guests will also be able to take advantage of reserved viewing for Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade on Main Street, U.S.A. I recently had the opportunity to take in a parade from this reserved area, and the view was nothing short of magical!
My fellow Panelist,
Missy, was at
Magic Kingdom Park today. She stopped into Tony's Town Square Restaurant to ask about the gluten-free menu for Tony's Most Merriest Town Square Party. She was told that party guests can enjoy gluten-free options such as steak, chicken, sausage, shrimp, cold meats, cheeses, vegetables, hazelnut chocolate cake, and chocolate-covered strawberries. It sounds like you will have a wide variety of yummy options! If you're looking for an additional holiday event with some great allergy-friendly accommodations, my fellow Panelist,
Crystal, mentioned that she had a great experience at the
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party as well.
Susan, if you have any additional questions about allergy menus at the Walt Disney World Resort, the Disney Parks Moms Panel is always happy to help. You are also welcome to contact Walt Disney World Resort's
Special Diets Team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. They are a great resource for guests with special dietary needs.
Have a magical day!
Samantha
