Is there gluten free dining? Need a motorized scooter for my wife, are they available and what is the cost?

    Hello, Jeff!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with two excellent questions! When making your advanced dining reservations, be sure to note your gluten-free diet. You will also want to remind the Cast Member when you check-in at a table service restaurant so your gluten-free information can be relayed to your server and the chef, who will come to your table to discuss your ordering options. When dining at a counter-service meal, you will need to tell the Cast Member when ordering you need gluten-free items and someone will help you choose appropriate menu items.
If you have any questions before your arrival, you can email the Special Dietary Request team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com.

You absolutely can rent an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) for your wife! Rentals are available in all four theme parks, both water parks and at Disney Springs. Reservations are not accepted, and ECVs are rented on a first come, first-served basis. Currently, the daily rental rate is $50. Keep in mind that the theme parks have a $20 refundable deposit while a $100 refundable deposit is required at the water parks and Disney Springs. You are also welcome to rent a unit from a Disney featured provider so you wife can use the ECV at her convenience. A list of providers can be found at the bottom of the above-linked page.

I hope this helps with your planning, Jeff! Please let us know if you have additional questions. We are hEAR to help!
