Where do you get the glow cubes? And what is the difference between that and the tinker bell and/or captain hook?

    Hi Courtney,

Those Glow Cubes are awesome!  They are well enjoyed here at home when we want to add some fun at birthday parties, etc...  I bought mine in one of the gift shops at the "Value" resorts about a year ago and I am not sure if they still sell them there or not.  I do know that most of the bars located at the different WDW Resorts will sell them individually or you can order a Glowtini (this is an alcoholic drink) and then you will receive a glow cube in your drink (yours to keep after the drink is gone).  They have a button on the bottom which you push and there will be a few different varieties of flashing sequences you can choose from when you push the button more than once to fit the mood you may be in at that particular time.  Please note that the batteries are not replaceable, so don't let it run continuously if you want it to last.  The glow cubes that I bought in the gift shop were in a package with two glow cubes for approximately $6.00 and they are activated by being put into liquid and will shut off automatically when you take them out of the liquid.

The Tinkerbell and Captain Hook (light hooks) are just that...a button will activate these as well and they have a sort of paperclip hook (built-in) and the whole thing lights up (no flashing).  You can get these when you order the Pirate Punch from a bar or while eating at a restaurant and may be available at other locations.  This punch is non-alcoholic and a great treat for children (or children at heart).  If you don't want this punch then they will substitute a juice or pop instead...just ask your server.  I hope you have fun with your glowing treasures on your upcoming trip to WDW and if you would like further information on specific spots to buy them just ask a cast member while you are there and they can direct you to the right spot!
