Hi Heather!
How exciting to be planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort with little ones! My family has made so many great memories as my boys have grown up visiting the parks and I'm happy that you have come to planDisney for an answer to your question about glider boards.
Having traveled with babies, toddlers, and young children for many years, I understand your concern that little legs might tire out during a busy day at the parks. However, current
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules prohibit "any trailer-like object that is pushed, pulled, or towed by an Electric Conveyance Vehicle, wheelchair, stroller, or person." Additionally, all strollers must be less than 39 inches (79 cm) wide and 52 inches (132 cm) long and stroller wagons are not allowed. While this may not be the answer you were hoping for, I'd love to share a few ideas to help your family plan ahead and give some rest to younger travelers during the day.
If you currently have a single stroller and hoping to add the glider to accommodate a slightly older child who may have outgrown the need for a stroller at home, you may want to consider
renting a stroller while at Walt Disney World Resort. They have both single and double stroller options available to families and offer a discounted rate if you're renting for multiple days in your stay.
In addition, throughout the parks you'll find several great options to give little legs a chance to rest.
Baby Care Centers are a wonderful location for the youngest Mouseketeers and offer opportunities for adults to feed children, change diapers, and take a quick break so you can hit the refresh button and be ready to tackle more fun in the parks. There are also several attractions and shows that are seated and located indoors - a great chance to rest your legs while taking a break from the sunshine and heat too! Two of our favorites are
Mickey's PhilharMagic located at Magic Kingdom Park and
Festival of the Lion King at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
As you continue to plan for your upcoming visit, I'd love to encourage you to check out our
