Are glass water bottles allowed on the cruise and at Castaway Cay?

    Ahoy, Rhea!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you are getting ready for a Disney Cruise aboard one of the four vessels! No matter which itinerary you're sailing on, get ready to be amazed at all the activities available to choose from all day and night while onboard! From Broadway-style musicals, delicious meals and Senses Spa and Salon, you'll have so many ways to have fun!

I'm so glad you're thinking about bringing a water bottle from home to refill while onboard! My family and I love visiting the all-you-can-drink beverage station to refill our water bottles. I called the helpful folks at Disney Cruise Line just to make sure I was giving you the correct information. Because the beverage station is on the Pool Deck, Disney Cruise Line does not allow Guests to use glass water bottles, just in case one should break. This also holds true on Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. You are allowed to bring plastic, aluminum or other non-glass water bottles onboard, though!

Thank you for stopping by with this great question, Rhea! If you have any future questions about your upcoming cruise, please visit us again! We'd love to help!
