Hello, Miranda! Welcome aboard planDisney and thank you for sailing our way to ask your question. I’d love to help you prepare for smooth sailing as you embark on your Disney Cruise.
You are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages onboard the ship, so long as they are unopened, sealed in original factory packaging, and carried onto the ship in your carry-on luggage. Please be aware that homemade, precooked, perishable foods, or open food containers are not permitted onboard. Ice chests and coolers can not be brought onboard to store beverages. Coolers are only permitted for storing medications, baby food or nonperishable items related to dietary restrictions.
Once you are onboard, your stateroom is equipped with a beverage cooler for your use. It’s perfect for storing any drinks you carry onboard. Your stateroom was designed for your comfort and includes some great storage options. I especially love how there is plenty of room under the bed to stow away your suitcases and bags while not in use.
If you have more questions about packing or preparing for your sailing, the
packing checklist and
prohibited items list on the Disney Cruise Line website are a great resource. My pals and I will be here to help if you have additional questions, too! Just drop us a line anytime.
Happy New Year and happy planning!
