Glad I found you "Mom". I'm planning a trip and have tons of questions. Do they do Jedi Training Academy during Extra Magic Hours? Thank you!!

    Hi Lynda,

We're glad you found the Moms Panel too!

The Jedi Training Academy (JTA) is way cool and super popular with young Padawans.  When I was there in October, they did begin holding sign-ups during morning Extra Magic Hours but the first session did not begin until after the park opened to everyone.

Registration was held at Sounds Dangerous with Drew Carey. There was a sign in front of the Sounds Dangerous theater directing guests to the sign-up area. The location may vary but it will be held in an area near the JTA stage - just ask any Cast Member in that area.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort & it works into your schedule, you could visit DHS on a morning they are offering EMHs.  That may increase your chances of getting a spot.  If you aren't staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and JTA is a must do, I'd plan to visit DHS on a day when they are not offering morning EMHs.

If JTA is a "must do" for you, I'd recommend heading towards JTA first. Make sure you have your young Jedi with you. They ask all Padawans a couple of questions to make sure they can follow some basic directions before signing up.

Please feel free to visit us as often as you'd like with questions.  It is a pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
