I am giving the gift of cruising on the Disney Dream to my mom! She will be sailing with me. However she doesn't speak English. How is it for clearing customs to get in the ship: Can we be together in line so I can translate if they ask her a question?

    Hi Patrick!

You are such a good son!  I'm planning on reading your question to my little guy in the hopes that the "gift of cruising" sticks!

Clearing US Customs is quick and painless as long as you have the proper documentation.  You can certainly stay online with her to help translate.  It will be very easy, so don't worry about it a bit.

I hope your mom has a wonderful time on her cruise!  Please let me know if I can answer anything else for you.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!
