Giving our children a surprise trip to Disney for Christmas, traveling in February! Is it permissible to bring water or snack foods into any of the parks?

    Hi Bree,

Absolutely! You are welcome to bring drinks, snacks or other food into the parks. I've seen families spread out entire meals that they packed in a small cooler and brought inside. There are a couple of restrictions: no glass (except for baby food containers) and no alcohol.

I always recommend bringing water bottles for everyone. Staying hydrated is a key to a good Walt Disney World Day. You can get free cups of ice water at any counter service venue to refill your bottles. And it's a great money-saver to have your own snacks. My only caution is that you don't want to weigh yourself down too much.

I hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your Walt Disney World visit. Enjoy your time with your family.
