We are being given a trip to WDW because I have cancer. I bought 2 different books trying to plan out our trip. It's just more than I can do with the way my brain functions since chemo. Do you have any way of helping with kids. 11 & 3 year old.

    Hi Susan,

The Moms Panel would be happy to help you plan your family's trip to Walt Disney World.  I suggest that we break down what seems like a Herculean task into steps.

First, let's think about where you'd like to stay at Walt Disney World.  Once you have selected your dates of travel, choosing a Disney resort is your next order of business.  Show your family the list of over 20 resorts from which they can choose by clicking here.  If you know your budget, you will be able to limit your choices to either the value, moderate, or deluxe resorts.  I'm sure that the theme of at least one hotel in each category will appeal to your family.  Then contact a travel agent or Disney Central Reservations 1-(407)-WDISNEY to make your resort reservations.

Be sure to ask these travel specialists if there is a free dining promotion available during your dates of travel.  I am a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan and heartily encourage you to include it in your vacation package, even if you would have to pay for it.  Also include at least four-day Magic Your Way theme park tickets for your family so you can spend one day at each of the four Disney theme parks.

Let me know if you need any additional advice regarding your upcoming trip.  I'd be happy to suggest an itinerary or restaurants if you send me a follow-up question with your travel dates.

    Sending pixie dust your way!
