Greetings, Justin!
How sweet to be given the gift of the Happiest Place on Earth! Now, let’s see if we can find out the status of those tickets. Let’s first check what type of tickets these are. If these are for a
special event, such as
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, the valid date and important terms will be printed on the tickets. The same idea applies if these tickets are complimentary or other similar types of tickets. But if these are
regular Disneyland Resort theme park tickets, first, check the printed expiration date on the tickets. If the expiration date has passed, the tickets may still hold value if they are wholly unused. The amount originally paid for
wholly unused, expired tickets may be applied toward the purchase of new park tickets at the Main Entrance Ticket Booths.
Otherwise, if these tickets are not expired and have not been used by anyone already, they may be taken to the park entrance turnstiles for admission to the parks. To find out ahead of time whether the tickets are still valid, you might first try linking them in the
Disneyland app. If the tickets are no longer valid, a message to that effect will be displayed. Finally, to verify that the tickets are wholly unused, you may call the Disneyland Resort ticket and information line at (714) 781-INFO or (714) 781-4636. Since Disneyland Resort
tickets are non-transferable, you’ll want to avoid any surprises when you take them to the park entrance.
I mentioned the Disneyland app above. It’s an essential tool for navigating the Disneyland Resort. It includes
attraction wait times, character information, access to
dining reservations,
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering, and more. I also recommend downloading the
Play Disney Park app. This fun and interactive app helps keep the magic flowing while waiting in line for an attraction. It also includes the amazing
Star Wars: Datapad to help bring your own Star Wars story to life when visiting the
Black Spire Outpost.
I hope you have a magical time, Justin!
