Greetings Ann Marie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm happy to assist with your planning question.
First of all, congratulations on your retirement! I hope you enjoy many Walt Disney World vacations during your hard-earned time off. Disney gift cards were such a thoughtful gift from your friends and family!
Ann Marie, I am going to explain the procedure for using gift cards purchased in Canada, and for even more information,
check out a similar question that my friend and fellow panelist, Lynne, answered not too long ago. Basically, you need to make a purchase with each of the gift cards, and then they will be automatically be converted into US Dollars. After the initial purchase on each card, you will be able to see how much is left on the card in dollars. Once each card has successfully been converted into dollars, you can combine them into one gift card at
Guest Relations. While you're at Guest Relations, be sure to pick up an "I'm Celebrating" button to commemorate your retirement!
I love using Disney gift cards for my purchases while vacationing in the Walt Disney World Resort. It feels like Mickey Mouse himself is treating me to some Disney magic! I'm sure you already have lots of ideas on how to spend those dollars. Since you'll be visiting during the
Epcot International Festival of the Arts, why not use them to taste some of the
unique and creative food and beverage offerings featured during the festival? One of my favorite activities in Epcot is snacking my way around World Showcase, and festival season makes it an even more delicious adventure!
However you decide to spend your Disney gift cards, I know you will have a wonderful vacation. Congratulations again, Ann Marie, on your exciting milestone, if we can help with any further planning needs, please come see us again.
See ya real soon!
