Given that port activities fill up quickly, if we are unable to book the activities we want, are we able to remain on the ship at the ports and enjoy the pool, etc?

    Ahoy, Nick!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question.

If you decide not to disembark when the ship stops in port, you are more than welcome (and encouraged!) to remain onboard and enjoy all the awesome amenities on the ship. On our last cruise, we chose to stay onboard when our ship docked in Nassau. We enjoyed smaller crowds at the pools, and found plenty of things to do all around the ship. (I spent some quality time at the spa!)

If you have your heart set on certain Port Adventures, I encourage you to prioritize your favorites and get online to book them as soon as your reservation window opens (typically 12:01am EST). If you're not able to book the excursions you want, make sure to stop by the Port Adventures Desk once you board the ship to see if there have been any cancellations. Hopefully you'll be able to secure reservations for the adventures at the top of your list!

I hope this helps with your planning. Please let us know if you have further questions before you set sail! - Diane W.
