Given the option would you stay at the Fort Wilderness Lodge on the Club Level or a One bedroom Villa at Fort Wilderness. (3 adults and a 5 year old).

Hi, Mary! Although staying on a Club Level is wonderful and you can enjoy the unique service and amenities (such as a morning continental breakfast and afternoon snacks), the practical side of me leans toward the privacy and conveniences of a one-bedroom villa. To me, nothing beats the flexibility of having my snacks and meals available to me anytime I'd like as well as having a washing machine and dryer in the room.

Of course, if staying in closer quarters is no issue and you would rather be pampered than practical, then you'll enjoy staying in the main building of Wilderness Lodge rather than at a distance from the main lobby where the villas are located. So...if it's a short stay, I'd pick the club level, and if you're planning on five days or more, I would chose the villa. Whatever you chose, remember to ask the concierge upon arrival if you can be the Wilderness Lodge Flag Family during the course of your stay. You get to go up on the roof and help hoist the flags for the day! Have a wonderful day and a most magical vacation!
