Given the extreme heat/humidity in July - we're of course, planning on dressing for it. My question is - will we be cold in the air conditioned restaurants?

    Hi Maureen,

My family regularly makes fun of me for being the only person who could be cold in Florida in July and August, so I had to answer your question!  Most people are completely comfortable in their park gear inside the restaurants during the summer months, and look forward to the reprieve from the heat and humidity.  However, I will say that occasionally, I'm chilly (especially in the evenings when we enter an air-conditioned restaurant) and bring along a light sweater.  (I stick light sweaters/sweatshirts for my entire family in my "park bag", but I'm generally the only one who ever uses them during the summer.)

I say better safe than sorry, so if you have space, bring along something to ensure you are comfortable!

    Thanks so much for writing!
