I was given a DAS pass, but for only six guests. We are a family of seven. How can we make sure that we're all able to ride together? The purpose of the pass was so that I could experience the rides with whole family. Is there a way to coordinate w/Genie+?

    Hi Lauren,

    Welcome to planDisney!

I am glad you brought this question about the Disability Access Service (DAS) to us. This service makes time in the parks so much more manageable with my family and I am so glad that it sounds like you have pre-registered for the service. You are correct that it is typically limited to six people. It may actually work out fine because every person in your party may not want and/or be able to do every attraction.

If you have not done so already, go through the Attractions in each park and prioritize the rides you want to experience. Then determine who might not want or be able to do each ride (i.e. if children are traveling with you, they may not meet the height requirements for some attractions). Then, make advanced selections for up to two experiences per day you have theme park admission. Note that experience availability for advanced selections is subject to change.

After prioritizing your list and thinking about who might not want or be able to ride each attraction, if you find that everyone is still all in and wants to ride, you can speak to someone in Guest Relations or a cast member at one of the Guest Experience Team areas in a theme park when you arrive. They may not be able to add another guest to your DAS, but you can ask!

Let's celebrate that you have an upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort! I am so excited that you are planning this trip for a larger group. Given the size of your party, I do strongly suggest that you make some advanced dining reservations and do consider using Disney Genie+. We use this service for Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios because there are so many attractions that we love in both parks.

Lauren, keep in mind that DAS may allow you the access you need, and you may not feel like you need Disney Genie+. It really depends on how long your group plans to stay in the parks on a given day, and how many attractions they feel they could do in that time. If you do get Disney Genie+, you can certainly coordinate it with your DAS selections. Once you enter a park, use the My Disney Experience Mobile App to make a DAS selection. The DAS selection you make in the park is like a rolling one, once you use it or the time window expires, you can make another one. Remember to use the mobile app to make your Disney Genie+ lightning lane selections during the day as well.

    Happy Planning!

    Magic and memories,
