Hi Sara!
So glad to see you stopping by planDisney!
Of course, my ultimate hope is that all goes well and everyone in your group can visit the Walt Disney World Resort for your trip in November. If you need to change plans, check the
resort hotel operational updates for the latest cancellation and modification procedures. With the current flexible cancellation policy, you may cancel or modify your reservation up to the day of arrival. Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees are currently being waived for arrivals through December 31, 2020.
If you booked your trip through a third-party vendor, you will need to check with that vendor to verify the cancellation or modification process and any potential fees. To cancel with the Walt Disney World Resort directly, call 407-939-1936 and speak with a Cast Member. Be sure to check on any other cancellation penalties that may occur with related-travel (i.e. airfare) and tickets purchased that were not associated with a
vacation package.
We had a trip planned for the same dates in November and just modified it to December. I was able to secure our preferred resort and make our
Disney Park Pass system reservations. Before you cancel, do consider other possible dates that you may want to visit so that you can simply modify the reservation to those dates if possible. If you do have to cancel and have already made
advanced dining and park pass reservations, do be sure to cancel those as well.
If you have not made those advanced dining and park pass reservations, I strongly suggest that you do so as soon as possible. We have a few dining experiences that are must-do's for every trip -
California Grill and
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. The views from each restaurant are magical!
Sara, I am sending lots of pixie dust for health so that you can take your trip as planned! A world of magic is waiting, make sure everyone has an appropriate super-suit and get ready for your next
Incredible Disney Day!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
