I was given a birthday gift of a Disneyland SoCal Resident 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket (valid through May 18, 2030), then the COVID pandemic hit. This ticket was never used/activated. Mg question is. How do I exchange this for an updated card? Thank yo.

Hiya, Andrew! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question. What a lovely birthday gift you were given – a ticket to the Happiest Place on Earth! I’m sorry you could not use it earlier.

Andrew, I have good news! You can apply an unused, expired ticket towards the purchase of a new one. You would need to visit the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth to do this in person with a Cast Member. I would advise checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar right before your visit, as availability can change quickly, and you will need a theme park reservation to enter. If you have any other questions about exchanging your ticket, you could contact Ticket Services via phone, or use the “Chat with Us” feature in the Disneyland mobile app

Also, as you live in Southern California, if you don’t want to use all three days consecutively, you have flexibility to use a multi-day ticket within 13 days of first use. For instance, if you could get a theme park reservation for the day you arrive and exchange your ticket, you could still use the remaining two days within the next 13 days.

Andrew, it sounds like you haven’t been to Disneyland Resort since Disney Genie+ appeared from beneath the Arabian sands. Let me tell you, this is no ordinary lamp! By adding this service to your day (which you can do after you enter the theme park, using the Disneyland mobile app) you can access Lightning Lanes for several attractions, saving you hours of time waiting in queues. My family and I were thrilled about this feature when we visited in December. It allowed us to do more in the same amount of time.

Sending you a pinch of pixie dust to get your new ticket sorted out soon. Magic awaits you!
