Given that is has been announced the Holiday season is going to start November 11, 2022 at Disneyland, what can those of us expect who are going that first week of November. Will there be any parades or fireworks at all since its in between seasons?

    Hiya, Kristen!

Welcome to planDisney! It's my pleasure to help a fellow Kristen-Mouseketeer! (Spelled the correct way, of course.)

One of the hard timings of visiting The Happiest Place on Earth during the fall and winter is navigating around all of the changing Disney decor, seasonal offerings, special event ticket events, and so much more. You must be a Disney news nerd like myself because you are on top of the recently announced holiday happenings. This is a hard one to say for sure, as some nightly entertainment options finally came back to us from the pandemic pause only a few months ago, so the last "normal" season of between-the-seasons-entertainment is from 2019.

While we won't know for sure what all the official Entertainment Schedule will hold until about a month before your arrival, I looked in my phone's photo album to see what my family enjoyed in past during the same two-week stretch you'll be in town. In both 2018 and 2019, there were Fireworks and Nighttime Spectaculars; shows like Fantasmic! and World of Color are usually held nightly, but fireworks during this time are usually reserved for weekends only. However, there might be a projection + dancey music show during the week. (If you see Mickey's Mix Magic on the calendar, you can view this party in front of the castle, "it's a small world", or on the stage of The Rivers of America, but my favorite location to take in this 15-minute, high-energy party is in the middle of Main Street U.S.A.

Full-length, mid-afternoon parades aren't yet back at Disneyland Resort, so I don't think we can plan on seeing those this yEAR; however, you might be able to see a shorter "Character Cavalcade" pop up and ride past at random times throughout your Disney days as well as dozens of characters stationed around for all kinds of Character Experiences, including meet and greets!

I hope that this helped to clEAR your question up, Kristen! Be sure to keep up with the official planDisney Panel Instagram account where we're sharing all kinds of tips and tricks. Thank you so much for stopping by, and if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
