Hello Koen!
Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
The first step in planning ahead is to be ready for registration on April 26 at Noon Eastern Standard Time. Having your Active.com account already set up will help expedite the registration process for you.
Until resorts open up, be browsing and decide which one you prefer. All of the
Walt Disney World Resorts will offer complimentary bus transportation to and from race weekend events, so that will be taken care of for you. You can book by calling 407-939-4786 for a runDisney travel agent, or online.
Decide if you want to visit parks. If you do, you may want to purchase the trip as a package and add your park tickets into your resort reservation.
Disney dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance. So, be deciding where you want to eat during your trip and be ready to reserve those. The more popular restaurants will fill up quickly. I highly recommend celebrating your race with a dinner at 'Ohana!
For your Proof of Time, it just needs to be from a race that was timed. Here are the guidelines:
Proof of time must be provided from an officially timed race reflecting results after January 1, 2015 and must be one of the below listed distances. Runners will be placed in the last corral if the appropriate race distance is not submitted for Proof of Time. Half Marathon – 10K, 12K, 15K, 10 Mile, Half Marathon or Marathon
Full Marathon – 10 Mile, Half Marathon or Marathon
If you have any proof of time questions, you can email disneysports@trackshack.com.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
