Give it to me straight, Joel. I need a DETAILED description of Expedition Everest, you know, the part that is backward in the dark? How long is the backward drop, ect. I have an autisic son who wants to ride, plus I'm a wimp!

Hi, Jaynee! I'm glad you asked, and I understand why you've come to me. From one wimp to another, I think you can totally handle it. It feels as if the majority of the ride is spent going backwards. It's pretty awesome. You know when it's coming because, er, there's nowhere else to go (?) You fall fast, and steep. And there are lots of turns. The Yeti taunts you at two distinct moments: once as a silhouette in a chilly cave; the other time in real life form as you dive underneath him.

If you can handle Space Mountain and Dinosaur, you can handle this.

As far as your son goes, if he's game, I'd probably say go for it. My autistic sister wouldn't get near it but I get the sense from you that your son is higher functioning.

There are some decent ride-through videos on YouTube. It warrants a major "spoiler alert" but it might be worth it so you can get a good idea before going through with it.
