Could you give me your opinion on Hollywood and Vine ... and crystal Palace -- are those good character meals --- or should I be looking for other ones that are better

    Hi Christine,

Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios and The Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom are great character dining experiences.  Both offer extensive buffets that will surely include something to please every member of your traveling party.

The only thing I would caution you about regarding these character dining experiences is that you will not find Mickey at either of these restaurants.  Hollywood & Vine is populated by the adorable characters from Disney Junior.  They're fun but they do tend to appeal to families with younger children.  The characters at The Crystal Palace are the residents of the 100 Acre Woods.  Yes, you'll enjoy a delightful meal with Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, and Winnie the Pooh.  These characters have a broad fan base, but if your heart is set on meeting Mickey, you will not find him here.  Of course, there are many places in the Disney resorts and theme parks where you can catch up with Mickey, so go ahead and schedule your character dining experiences at Hollywood & Vine and The Crystal Palace by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

Wishing you a magical Disney vacation!
