If I want to give my one year old an hour or so nap, can that be done at the Baby Center?

    Hello there Courtenay!

I have used the Baby Care Centers at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks more times than I can count!  My little ones starting visiting Disney World as infants and we've used them on almost all of our visits so far.

Napping facilities are not available at the Baby Care Centers.  There are nursing areas available (some are private and some are semi-private) inside the centers, which I have used to nurse my little ones to sleep and get out of the heat for a little bit and then put them in their strollers or into a baby carrier while we went back into the parks. The centers are mainly used for feedings and diaper changes.

If you're staying on Walt Disney World Resort property, you will find it very easy to get back to your resort for naps.  We always make a point to return to our hotel room each day for a little rest and relaxation.  It's a great way to give the little ones a break from all of the over-stimulation in the parks as well.  I'll also admit it's a nice break for mom and dad, too!

Please come back and see us again real soon!

    Have a magical day,
    Ashley
