Hi, Can you give me a list of restaurants at the parks and also at resorts that we can have a character meal with the Princesses. My grandaughter will be 9 and loves the princesses. Doesn't matter about dining plan package. Thanks

Hey there, Stacey. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Character meals are so much fun at any age! I still get excited to dine with some of my most beloved characters. Plus, it's such a time saver when visiting Walt Disney World. Instead of taking time out of the day meeting characters, you are knocking out two things at once by enjoying a meal and getting all of those precious pictures. Currently there are 15 character meals scattered throughout the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and Resorts. Here are the ones that include princesses:

    • Cinderella's Royal Table - This breakfast, lunch or dinner is located right inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. There your granddaughter will get to meet Cinderella and a few of her other royal friends. Characters are different at different meal times, however Cinderella is always there.
    • Akershus Royal Banquet Hall - Princess Storybook Dining can be found in the Norway Pavilion of the World Showcase at Epcot. Here your granddaughter will get to meet a variety of different princesses like Snow White, Cinderella, Princess Aurora, Belle or Ariel. This restaurant serves up a tasty American style breakfast but if you are an adventurous eater you might want to try lunch or dinner. Those meals are heavily influenced by Norwegian cuisine and offer some of the finest Scandinavian food.
    • 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa offers a beautiful dinner buffet that my daughter has always loved. At Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner you'll get the opportunity to talk and take pictures with Cinderella and Prince Charming as well as the hilarious Stepsisters and maybe even her evil Stepmother.
    • Disney's Perfectly Princess Tea at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa - While this isn't technically a meal, it's another great way to meet the beloved Princess Aurora and have some fun while doing it. There music, dancing, stories and tea at this unforgettable event. It's a lot of fun!
    • Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White - At this meal which is only for dinner, you'll get to dine with Snow White and some of her friends like Dopey and Grumpy. It's a rustic setting which makes you feel like you've actually stepped into the movie. If your granddaughter is brave she can also meet the Queen, which just takes this meal over the top.
    • Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno - At this restaurant on the BoardWalk, you'll get to dine with some favorites like Ariel and Prince Eric and Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. This is a unique experience to dine and interact with the pairs. This character meal is only offered for breakfast.
There are so many great choices but my absolute favorite is the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast. It's so fun seeing the couples interact together and it makes for such great pictures. Plus, the food is absolutely delicious. I think your granddaughter would have a great time dining there.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask. Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
