Can you give me a list of pros and cons to renting a stroller vs bringing my own?

    Hi Christine!

As the mom to two little Mouseketeers, I have accumulated many stroller miles, using a variety of brands and types of strollers, both single and double strollers and both personal and rental strollers. Here are my thoughts on stroller options for your vacation:

Personally Owned Stroller -  Our family often chooses to use our own stroller from home as my husband and I are comfortable pushing it and folding it for transportation and the kids feel at home in their seats. We like to use a jogging-type stroller to make it easy to push. We can use our stroller from the time we leave our hotel room in the morning until the time we return in the evening. While the stroller needs to be folded to use complimentary resort transportation buses or boats, our kids can stay in it when we ride the monorail.

Walt Disney World Resort Stroller Rental - These strollers are very easy to push, lightweight and comfortable for adults and kids. I have found that the Walt Disney World Resort rental strollers work very well for bigger kids as they can ride comfortably in these strollers, even if they are too tall for other strollers. However, these rental strollers cannot leave the theme parks. If you are going to multiple theme parks in one day, you will need to turn your stroller in when you leave the first park and pick up a new stroller at the second park.

Disney Featured Provider Stroller Rental - There are several provider options listed on the bottom of the Stroller Rentals page. The rental company will deliver your stroller directly to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel and you can keep them for the length of your stay. There are a variety of stroller types to choose from to fit your family's needs.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
