Do they give you a lanyard with the ‘Key to the world card’? Or do I buy my own?

    Welcome to planDisney, Natasha!

It’s always a pleasure to connect with a fellow Canadian and help with a Walt Disney World planning question! Thanks for stopping by to ask about the Key to the World Card. Guests can request one at their Disney Resort hotel or visit Guest Services at any theme park. There are usually a few fun designs to choose from, making it a great complimentary keepsake! Your Key to the World Card isn’t just your resort room key - it also holds your theme park tickets, grants access to Lightning Lanes, and even allows you to charge purchases to your Disney hotel room.

It would be wonderful if the Key to the World Card came with a lanyard, but unfortunately, it’s just the card on its own. The good news? You can plan ahead and pack a favourite lanyard in your suitcase to keep your card handy and safe throughout your trip!

I hope this helps with your planning, Natasha. I hope you have plenty of time to pick up a lanyard before your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any other questions, please let me know - I'd love to help!

    Enjoy making magical memories,
    Candace
