    Hi! I would like to give the kids Disney Gift Cards for our trip but shopdisney.com will not ship them to Canada. Is there anywhere else I can purchase these before our trip or do I have to buy them there? If so, where would I get them at WDW? Thanks!

    Hi Michelle, 

    Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  You are in luck!  Recently, Canadians have received an "upgrade" in terms of Gift Cards.  

    Canadian guests can purchase Disney Gift Cards at Canadian Disney Stores.  I have also found Gift Cards at our local grocery and drug stores as well.  When you purchase Disney Gift Cards in Canada, initially, your card will be in Canadian funds.  When you use your Gift Cards at Walt Disney World Resort, it will use the current exchange rate and your Gift Card will show the balance in American Funds. 

    If you do not live close to a Disney Store, or can't find any Gift Cards don't worry, you can always purchase Disney Gift Cards virtually everywhere at Walt Disney World Resort.  If you look around the check out area, you are bound to find a variety of Gift Cards available for purchase.
