    Hi! Can you give me more information on mini golfing in Disney? What's the easiest way to get there? Can we just show up or do we need to call ahead? And, does the price include both mini golf courses or just one?

    Hiya Jenn! Welcome to planDisney!

    I'm excited to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just a couple of months! A visit during the holiday season is one of the best times of the year to come! Most of the parks and resorts are filled with festive décor that will instantly put you in the holiday spirit.

    I'm happy you are planning to visit the miniature golf courses during your trip. Golfing is one of my favorite activities, whether it is teeing it up at one of Walt Disney World's premier golf courses or competing against your family in mini-golf. There are two locations that offer mini-golf currently. Winter Summerland and Fantasia Gardens and Fairways each have two, 18-hole courses that are all a ton of fun. Winter Summerland has the Summer and Winter Courses that each end up inside Santa's Workshop. Many of the holes have interactive elements that make it both challenging and entertaining.

    When planning this activity, you can call ahead to reserve a time. While this is not required, I certainly recommend doing so in order to have a minimal wait upon arrival. Each 18-hole course is priced separately, so if you want to play all four courses at both locations, you'll have to pay for each individual round of golf. Depending where you are coming from and which venue you plan to play will determine how you will get there.

    1. If you want to play at Fantasia Gardens and Fairways and are staying in a Disney Resorts hotel, you can take a bus from your resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios. From here, hop on a Friendship Boat and get off at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotel to walk over to the course. If you are driving, you can park in the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve lot while you are playing. Otherwise, you can schedule a ride-share service to drop you off.
    2. If you want to play at Winter Summerland and are staying in a Disney Resorts hotel, this will be slightly more challenging to get to. When Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is open, Guests can take a bus from their resort to the water park and walk over to the courses from there. I would keep an eye out to see if Blizzard Beach reopens by the time of your visit. Otherwise, there is a dedicated parking lot at the mini-golf course if you have a vehicle with you. You can also utilize a ride-share service to get here as well.
