    Can you give me ideas for dining with a 3 yr old?

    Hi, Casey!

    Ah, dining with a 3 year old...chicken fingers, french fries, spilled milk, hey wait, that sounds like my 13 year old!  But seriously, you will have no worries when dining in Walt Disney World.  This is about THE most kid-friendly vacation (and dining!) destination you will ever find.

    Your little Mouseketeer will probably love the Character Dining experiences.  Try Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary and the Crystal Palace (with Pooh and his silly pals) at the Magic Kingdom.  These are both served as buffets, so your little one can find his/her favorites on the buffet and enjoy!  

    Most Quick Service locations have great kids menus.  My kids always loved the options and getting to select their side dishes which range from fries and applesauce to grapes and carrots.  In the Magic Kingdom, stop by Pinocchio's Village Haus for a fun lunch or dinner and get a table by the window to watch the "it's a small world" boats sail by. 

    The one thing I would avoid would be long, signature meals such as Yachtsman Steakhouse.  Keep it quick, keep it fun, and your little one will have a great time.  

    Some family favorites that are very kid-friendly:
    -Wolfgang Puck Express in Downtown Disney (quick service)
    -Hollywood & Vine in Hollywood Studios (breakfast buffet with Disney Junior pals)
    -La Cantina de San Angel in Epcot (Mexican quick service)
    -Pizzafari in Animal Kingdom (quick service)
    -Les Chefs de France in Epcot (table service in France, but they have chicken fingers and pasta!)
