We are going to give our grandbabies a trip to Disney World for Christmas. They will be 4 and 2. What resort do you suggest we stay in based on their ages? We plan on trying to come during the month of February 2020.

    Hi, there!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rebecca. We're so glad you stopped by!

It sounds like your sweet grandbabies are going to have a magical Christmas. I can't think of a better gift than a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It's my pleasure to help you choose a Disney Resort hotel that's a perfect fit for your family's unique interests, needs, and budget.

In the Value Resort hotel category, I most recommend Disney's Art of Animation Resort. This Resort hotel is lots of fun with larger-than-life scenes of popular Disney films throughout the resort. The theming of the rooms is kid-friendly and will completely immerse your grandchildren in the magic of Disney storytelling! Another great option in this category is Disney's Pop Century Resort. The rooms at this Resort hotel have recently been renovated to include two queen-sized beds and loads of storage space!

At the Moderate Resort hotel level, I suggest Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. Southern charm abounds at this beautiful and relaxing Resort hotel! In the Alligator Bayou section of the resort, rooms feature The Princess and the Frog theming, which my kids just adore. The Magnolia Bend section has stately mansions with special Royal Guests Rooms, perfect for any prince or princess. One of my favorite things about Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is the convenient ferryboat access to Disney Springs!

In the Deluxe Resort hotel category, my top pick is Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The tropical, laidback vibe at this exotic Resort hotel is such a nice contrast to all the adventures we experience in the theme parks. The monorail access to Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot is super convenient for families traveling with little ones in tow!

Rebecca, no matter what Disney Resort hotel you choose, you are sure to have a Grand Adventure with your grandchildren at the Walt Disney World Resort. Please let us know if you have any other questions while you're planning this Christmas surprise!
