Can you give me details about swimming with the sharks at the waterparks? How deep is the water? Are there age restrictions?

    Hi Laureen!

I just got back from Typhoon Lagoon yesterday!  The Shark Reef at Typhoon Lagoon is such a cool experience.  You are given a life vest and snorkel equipment for this attraction.  The water is chilly and salted, just to let you know. The reef is about 10 feet deep and the attraction is for all ages.  How it works is you slowly glide yourself from one side of the reef to the other while viewing the tropical fish and sharks below you.  Once you make it to the other side, you must exit the water.  You can get right back in line if you want to do it again.

Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite Disney water park and it's so neat that you can swim with sharks here!

    Have a magical day!
