I believe you’re asking about the 2025 Diwali Dance Fest, which took place from October 9 through 12, 2025, in Walt Disney World Resort. The festivities started with a Diwali Mela, which included a live DJ, mehndi art, and dinner. I even saw photos of Mickey and Minnie in attendance, dressed in a kurta and sari! On Saturday, the International Dance Showcase was held in
Animal Kingdom, with live standup and performances from over 450 performers. I was lucky enough to be in Magic Kingdom on Sunday during the Grand Diwali Parade. It was so exciting to see performers of all ages dancing down Main Street, U.S.A., towards Cinderella Castle. I couldn't help but notice the smiles of Cast Members and fellow Guests as they saw the brightly colored outfits and heard the music as the parade moved closer.
Diwali Dance Fest has been held in Walt Disney World Resort for the last few years, but this was the first time the parade was in Magic Kingdom.
