Hi Alvin! Coronado Springs Resort was the first moderate resort that I have stayed at while on vacation at Walt Disney World. I wasn't sure what to expect as I was a long time faithful resident of the Yacht Club and Grand Floridian resorts. But after only one stay I can easily recommend this location to all guests considering a Disney vacation.
Coronado Springs Resort has a lot to offer its guests with far more amenities then any other moderate on property. They have added the new Coconino Cove lounge for guests who choose the business class room. It is located on the first floor of building 9B which is close to the check-in lobby/main building and also the bus stop and main pool. The lounge is open seven days a week and runs similar to the other concierge lounges at the deluxe resorts. Food and drink here is complimentary and they offer a breakfast service from 7am - 10am and an evening service from 5pm - 10pm.
Breakfast fare consists of cereals, breads, fruits, pastries, coffee, tea, juices, and milk.
Evening service consists of soft drinks, Perrier, a selection of beers and wines, and sangria. Food changes but is similar to cheese, crackers, veggies, humus, dips, antipasto, grilled veggies, and bread. At 7pm this food is promptly removed and pretzels, chips, and fresh cookies will be brought out for the remainder of the evening.
There is a guest restroom and two cast members who will be on duty to help and assist you in any way needed. This is a great new addition to Coronado Springs Resort and one that I am sure will be quite popular for business groups and other guests.
