If you have to give your debit card when you do online check in are they going to put a hold on your money in your bank so you do not have access to it? and if so how much do they put a hold on? I need to know so i can plan accordingly

Hi Sheri!  The resorts will put as much of a hold on your card as you like for purchasing privileges,or they can put a zero hold on it. You can check in with your card online, and then when you physically check in at the front desk, you can determine your hold.   If you choose to do the zero hold, then your Key to the Kingdom card (which is your room key and theme park ticket) will not have charging privileges.  That is totally fine to do it that way.  I never put charging privileges on my card and instead take the amount of cash that I have budgeted with me.  If I end up needing more money, I can either use one of the many ATM's in the Disney World Resort area, or simply pay using my debit card.
I hope this helps!  Have a great trip!
