My girls (13 & 18 yrs old) & I plan on checking out Downtown Disney during our trip. Do you have to pay for parking at Downtown Disney? Also, do you have to pay to go into Downtown Disney & Pleasure Island?

    Hi Stephanie,

Great question!  I personally think that the Downtown Disney area is one of the hidden gems of the Walt Disney World Resort.  It is a great place to eat, shop and simply stroll.  What makes it even better is that there is no charge for parking, and no admission fees!

I'm not sure if you've heard but all of the night clubs at Pleasure Island have closed permanently.  They are re-working this area to be a bit more family friendly.
If you're going to be in the Downtown Disney area, you might want to consider checking out Cirque du Soleil it is an incredible show that is definitely worth seeing!

    Have a great time!
