Hi April! Welcome back to planDisney.
Oh Boy! Sounds like my kind of Girl's Trip coming up in early November. I am loving your packed itinerary. Let's tackle these questions one by one. First, having a rental car at
Walt Disney World Resort can be convenient but without a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, please note you will have to pay for parking at the theme parks.
Disney Springs parking is complimentary. Also, it is standard policy that parking at resorts is for resort guests and for those with dining reservations. However, sometimes you may be allowed to park for a couple of hours to see entertainment. It is up to the discretion of the security gate Cast Members. Rideshare service will be allowed to drop you off at the front lobby. From my personal experience, any visits to
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto or
Yeehaw Bob Jackson at River Roost Lounge ended in someone else doing the driving. Personally, I am leaning towards using Rideshare for this trip. But hopefully, I have provided enough information to make the best decision for your travel party.
Walt Disney World® Bus Transportation will run during Disney Springs operating hours and one hour after closing. Currently, the November 4, 2022 schedule is showing operating hours from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Be sure to double-check the hours on your
My Disney Experience Mobile App under "Park Hours" when you arrive as hours are always subject to change. From the water-accessible resorts,
Walt Disney World® Water Transportation typically begins at 10:00 AM and continues to 11:00 PM with the final water taxi pick up at 11:30 from Disney Springs back to the resorts.
One final note, your vacation is the same weekend as the
runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. Each morning there will be road closures for each race course. If you happen to see a Raya-themed planDisney panelist on Saturday or a patriotic one on Sunday, kindly encourage her. Seriously, give yourself extra time if you are traveling early in the morning.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
