The girls in our party have a reservation for breakfast at Akershus & the boys are headed to T-Rex at Downtown Disney. We are all planning to meet back in Epcot once finished. Can the boys get to Downtown Disney from Epcot parking lot or once inside?

Hi, Darcy! What a great idea. The boys will have an exciting time on their wild adventure at T-REX while the girls dine with royalty at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.

At this time, there is not direct transportation to the Downtown Disney Area from Epcot. But fear not! The boys can start their prehistoric adventure by exiting Epcot through the International Gateway. This is within the World Showcase between France and the United Kingdom. They can then catch a Disney transportation bus from one of the nearby Epcot area resorts. They can turn left for Disney's BoardWalk Inn or take a right and they will find themselves at Disney's Beach Club Resort. My family and I have done this several times with ease. Just remember to allow 90 minutes of travel time to make the reservation on time. For return back to Epcot, they would catch a bus from Downtown Disney back to either of these resorts and re-enter Epcot back through the International Gateway.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Darcy!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
