    Hi Moms 4 girls 32,41,54,60 for a girls week at WDW.Jan of 2014 or Oct. 2014 and which resort to stay at? Moderate would be great. All of us have stayed at the Value resorts want to try something new. Help please! thanks

    How fun! A girls trip to Walt Disney World sounds fantastic to me!
    You Princesses are going to have a Magical time!

    If I were planning a trip with girlfriends and wanting to keep within a Moderate Resort budget, I'd plan to stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. This is my favourite 'hidden gem' resort at Walt Disney World. The resort is very centrally located on property, making the distance to each of the four parks just about equidistant by bus. Additionally, the resort is amongst the smallest, giving it a very quaint feel. There's no need to pay for a preferred room location or water view room here. With just one bus stop, you'll find that there's really no room locations that aren't perfect!

    Another great big plus to staying here ... you're really close to Downtown Disney! In fact, there's even a boat that services the resort and travels to Downtown Disney via the Sassagoula River. This may come in handy just in case you ladies might want to sneak in a few evenings of nightlife, dining, entertainment and ... hmmmm ... perhaps some shopping?

    In the moderate resort category, Port Orleans French Quarter is easily my hands-down favourite. Check it out online and see if it also suits your friends and your budget.
