Hi girls! the family and I are coming up in march, my daughter who is 1, is absolutley in love with Mickey, we would like to do one of the character dining experiences, which do you recommend and should we do breakfast, lunch or dinner? Thanks!!

    Hi Kelly,

What a wonderful age!  After reading how much your daughter loves Mickey, I am feeling compelled to recommend Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort, which is just one extra stop on the monorail system from Magic Kingdom.  My daughter has always loved this character dining experience, whether she was 2 years old or 7 years old.  This was also her very first character dining adventure and I will never forget the look on her face when she saw Chip, Dale, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto.  Keep in mind that the characters do change from time to time, but it always includes the star of the show "Mickey Mouse".  This is also a "must do" (in my opinion), for birthday celebrations! It is very interactive with the waving of napkins in the air and a celebration approximately every 10 minutes for everyone to participate in!

As far as Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, that is up to you to decide, but this dining experience is only for Breakfast (which is a buffet) or Dinner (also a buffet style).  I will tell you though that I think at this age, Breakfast sounds more budget friendly, as it is hard to eat when the characters are always taking time with your little ones and photo opportunities are definitely plentiful here, (no one will have time to think about food!), or maybe that is just me!?!?!?  The food is really good here by the way, and do not miss going to the "sundae bar", it's not just for kids, you know!  Have a great time.

    Best Wishes,
    Brigitta
